Beowulf Mining revealed results yielding significant iron ore grades from the Kallak North deposit in Sweden.

This year Beowulf drilled 23 holes for a total of 5,549 meter, at Kallak North. Assays released from the last four holes provided further encouragement.

The highlights included one assay measuring 125 meter in length with a grade of 42% iron, as well as another intercept with the highest grades recorded at the project at 61.2%.

Mr Clive Sinclair-Poulton chairman of Beowulf Mining said that "The remaining assay results from our completed Kallak North drill program further underpin the great promise of the project and again include the highest average grade of iron mineralization ever recorded for a section of drill core from this deposit to date."

Additionally metallurgical work including Davis tube recovery has confirmed that it is possible for a high grade commercial product to be produced from Kallak North material.

The studies, which were based on large samples from the deposit, confirmed that the marketable high grade concentrates could be produced using relatively straightforward techniques.

Beowulf is now looking ahead to its upcoming drill program on the Kallak South deposit.
